éS is one of the few skateboarder owned and operated footwear companies in the world and has been since 1995. Our passion for inspirational Skateboarding, Design, and Style permeates throughout the global skate community.

The éS crew
eS Shoes is part of Sole Technologies, formerly Etnies which was split into three companies in the nineties: Etnies, eS and Emerica. eS was where the best team riders ended up, and shoes were more expensive as well, at the time, not sure if this is true, it was said that eS stood for Etnies Select.
eS Footwear is a Sole Technology shoe brand that was established back in 1995. The name eS came from the first and last letters of their parent company Etnies. eS quickly became the gold standard for technical skate shoes, and always had the team to back it up. eS promoted skateboarding in a positive and fun light, and in 2003 introduced a hugely popular eS Game of SKATE tournament. In 2011, eS was forced to take a short hiatus, but came back with a renewed focus and strong as ever.
